Thanks Buddy!

As you may know, I've been a fan of the great Buddy Holly & The Crickets since I was a boy. His music inspired me to learn to play the guitar and sing. From that, I have been lucky to have made a living playing music for over 30 years now.

This album of covers is something I've wanted to do for many years, I finally got around to making a start in 2018, I only managed to make a couple of tracks, but then during the lockdown in 2020, I used the opportunity to make the whole album.

Originally, I was just gonna do it for the fun of it and just to see how close I could get to the original sound, using 21st century digital recording technology. Of course you can only imitate up to a point, the original will always be the best. Some I have tried to keep to the original style, some I have done in my own style and some that he never completely finished, I just used my imagination.

The wonder of digital distribution has allowed me to licence and release these recordings as an album that you can now download and stream on all major digital music stores & services.
